VMWare ESXi and vSN - 'FAILED TO OPEN DEVICE' error message

When installing your Virtual SmartNode using VMWare ESXi, you may receive the following error messages: This is because the 'Virtual Disk Type' has to be set to 'IDE' and not 'SCSI' during the initial configuration. You may need to recreate the VM in order to make this change but once you do, it should boot as normal. | |
