2)      Click on "enable" and enter Supervisor password with is "root" by default.

3)      Go to "setup".

4)      Go to “bridge”

5)      Enter the Gateway address here

6)      Go back to the main screen and go to “write”

7)      Save the config and reboot the unit.

The unit will now have a default gateway specified for the 2160.

TDR can be used for SELT tests to determine cable properties such as length, type, opens, shorts, and bridge taps. See the Trinity OS release notes for more details on which releases and products this feature is available for.

  • Standard Ethernet v2 MTU is 1500 bytes;  this is the largest payload size of the Ethernet frame and would be the maximum size of e.g. an IP datagram within the Ethernet frame.
  • Ethernet v2 frame size with 1500 byte payload is 1518 bytes (without VLAN tags); the Ethernet frame size should not be confused with the MTU.
